The Role
Reporting to the FP&A Manager, the FP&A Lead Analyst will play a pivotal role in driving financial insight and supporting strategic decision-making across the group.
You’ll act as a bridge between the FP&A Manager and wider analyst team, managing one direct report (FP&A Analyst) and a dotted-line report to the Weekly P&L Manager.

With the scope to shape and develop the FP&A function as the business continues its growth journey.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range (5-year) planning cycles.
* Own and develop the three-statement financial model, adapting it as the business evolves.
* Produce and enhance key stakeholder reports, including Monthly Board Packs, Lender Packs, and Budget Packs.
* Analyse contract profitability and performance, working with commercial teams to identify risks and opportunities.
* Deliver scenario and ad hoc analysis for the Senior Leadership Team.
* Support group leverage and covenant calculations.
* Partner with Business Development on new business wins, pipeline tracking, and growth modelling.
* Analyse working capital and cash movement drivers.
* Manage and coordinate workloads across FP&A Analysts, providing coaching and direction.
The Person
* Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with 2–5 years’ post-qualification experience.
* Strong Excel and financial modelling capability.
* Commercially minded with a clear understanding of how operational decisions affect financial performance.
* Excellent communicator, comfortable engaging with senior finance and operational stakeholders.
* Naturally inquisitive and analytical, someone who asks why and digs into the details.
* Ambitious, motivated, and keen to progress within a growing, PE-backed organisation.
