Overview
This independent branding and packaging design agency, with 25 years of experience, is looking for an Account Manager to own their primary retail account. The client roster spans some of the UK’s biggest household names and emerging brands – the kind of portfolio that builds commercial credibility from day one.
The Role
You will own the day-to-day relationship on a major account, acting as their first point of contact and translating their briefs into clear, actionable projects for the studio. This means taking complex briefs and interpreting them back to the creative team with the clarity they need to deliver strong work.
You will manage project schedules, ensure the right resources are in place at every stage, and keep projects on time and on budget. The role requires you to champion the client’s voice internally while representing the agency’s perspective externally – a genuine bridge between brief and delivery.
The account gives you exposure to packaging on a serious scale. The commercial understanding you can build here transfers to any client, anywhere.
The Package
£28,000 – £32,000. On-site working on a 4-day week model, Fridays off as standard – not a trial or compressed hours, but how the agency operates permanently. Birthday off in addition to 20 days holiday, rising to 25. Christmas shutdown. Wellness budget and cash benefit health plan.
The Person
An Account Executive with 1 – 2 years of experience ready to step up into a full Account Manager role, or a junior Account Manager around 2 years in who is solid but not yet pushing for seniority. You are currently at a full-service, brand, or design agency. Packaging or retail experience helps but is not required; what really matters here is work ethic and the ability to interpret briefs clearly.
