Job Title: After School Club Assistant Location: Primary School, Birkenhead Hours: Tuesday to Friday, 3:00pm - 5:30pm Pay Rate: £13 per hour About the Role: We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our Primary School After School Club team. The role involves supervising and engaging with children in a safe, fun, and stimulating environment after the school day. Key Responsibilities: Provide a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for children aged 4-11. Lead and support a range of fun activities (arts and crafts, games, outdoor play, etc.). Ensure the welfare, safety, and well-being of all children at all times. Assist with preparing and serving light snacks in line with food hygiene standards. Build positive relationships with children, parents, and school staff. Maintain accurate attendance and safeguarding records. Requirements: Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service (essential). Experience working with children in a school, childcare, or play setting (desirable). Paediatric First Aid qualification (desirable). Food Hygiene certification (desirable). Enthusiasm, patience, and the ability to engage positively with children.
