PURPOSE OF JOB:
Bytes aims to help our customers achieve their digital transformation goals by leveraging Microsoft Cloud solutions, Bytes services, and support offerings. To this end, we have a dedicated Customer Success team that assists Microsoft customers in realizing their business outcomes.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Microsoft Customer Success Manager (CSM) to join our team. The CSM plays a crucial role in helping customers achieve their business goals using Microsoft Cloud solutions and Bytes services.
The Customer Success Manager is a sales and technical overlay role that works as a specialist resource to drive profitability for Microsoft and the business. This is achieved through proactive engagement with our current customer base to help deploy new technology, services, and workloads. Your goal is to ensure customer satisfaction, drive value realization, and foster long-term strategic relationships through data-driven insights and industry trends.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Proactively work with existing customers to generate profitable sales of Bytes Cloud Services, including workshops, solutions assessments, managed services, and CSP opportunities.
* Drive usage of Microsoft programs such as AMM, ECIF, CSI, ACO, and Solutions Assessments.
* Deliver customer-facing discussions to scope, qualify, and nurture opportunities with pre-sales and Bytes delivery teams.
* Provide basic cost optimization and security recommendations to customers quarterly.
* Support migration to modern agreements like CSP.
* Collaborate with Microsoft and other Cloud vendors for co-selling opportunities and positioning new workloads.
* Represent Bytes at customer events such as conferences, forums, training, webinars, and live events.
* Share knowledge through internal training, presentations, and marketing contributions.
* Identify propensity data within the CSP customer base for sales activities.
* Position Bytes cloud services to increase sales and service days in new workloads and migrations.
* Identify optimization opportunities, including FinOps services and pricing strategies.
* Drive consumption of third-party SaaS applications via Azure Marketplace.
Core Competencies and Skills:
* Relevant accreditations and ongoing training.
* Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure and Bytes services.
* Knowledge of Bytes managed services and vendors.
* Understanding of the Bytes ecosystem and propositions.
* Qualify and nurture sales opportunities.
* Proactive engagement with sales teams.
* Regular communication with sales to promote relevant programs.
* Engagement with multi-vendor specialists.
* Support throughout the sales cycle.
* Data analysis to identify customer gaps and opportunities.
* CRM data entry and management.
* Utilize tools like Navigator for opportunity identification.
* Support sales progression and customer value realization.
* Build and maintain customer relationships with regular reviews.
Professional Attributes:
* Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or similar.
* Knowledge of Security, Compliance & Identity fundamentals.
Years of Experience:
* Minimum of 3 years within the Microsoft ecosystem.
Other Requirements:
* Understanding of cloud offerings across Azure and third-party solutions.
* Knowledge of Microsoft procurement, models, and cost optimization strategies.
* Familiarity with Microsoft UK structure and contacts.
* Ability to navigate Microsoft cloud tools/platforms.
* Strong technical and commercial knowledge of Microsoft technologies.
* Ability to articulate cloud adoption options to customers.
* Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills.
* Comfortable presenting to customers and aligning solutions with business needs.
