Purpose of role

To undertake a variety of Design office activities

Role and responsibilities:

* Report to the Design Office Manager and assist with day-to-day tasks to ensure timely delivery of projects in accordance with internal and external Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* Liaising with customers daily via email and phone to gain drawing approvals for Design
* Managing customer expectations and distributing emails to the Design Engineers
* Liaising with Operations to manage job issuing dates for the team
* Booking in and loading new jobs for the team using the Planning spreadsheets
* Take notes at meetings and produce concise and accurate minutes and reports
* Book off holidays in the calendar for the team
* Data Entry / filing and retrieving information and documents
* Ensure all data is compiled to allow performance related reports to be run
* Take responsibility for all tasks undertaken and ensure they are completed to the highest standard possible.
* To manage your time effectively to ensure all jobs undertaken meet any deadlines that are set.
* Any other duties deemed appropriate by your line manager.

This specification is not an exhaustive list of duties, you will be expected to carry out different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the Organisation and the overall Business objectives of the Organisation. Working hours: 8.00am - 4.30pm
