Job Title : In-House HGV Mechanic Location : Knaresborough, North Yorkshire Salary : £35,000 - £45,000 per annum Overtime Opportunities Hours : 4 on 4 off, 6:00 am - 6:00 pm Are you an experienced HGV Maintenance Engineer looking for a new challenge? Join a dynamic and fast paced environment within a leading provider on the outskirts of Knaresborough. The successful candidate will work on-site at a dedicated HGV workshop, servicing and repairing a fleet of new and used HGV trailers. Your Duties as In-House HGV Mechanic will include: · Maintaining and repairing a fleet of HGV trailers on-site · Performing routine servicing and scheduled maintenance · Conducting electrical diagnostics and repairs · Carrying out fabrication and welding as required · Ensuring all repairs meet safety and operational standards · Working collaboratively with technicians and workshop staff · Accurately completing maintenance records and job sheets Experience required: · Relevant Technical Qualification (NVQ Level 2/3, IMI, or City & Guilds) or recent hands-on experience in HGV/LCV maintenance · HGV Class 1 or 2 licence (desirable but not essential) · Previous experience maintaining trailers or heavy commercial vehicles · A flexible, solution focused approach to tasks · Excellent communication and teamwork skills · Ability to follow processes and maintain accurate documentation In return, you'll be joining a supportive and long established team in a role that offers variety, responsibility and the chance to contribute meaningfully to the wider business.
