Senior Cardiac Physiologist

The Cardiac Investigations Unit at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking 1 x Senior Cardiac Physiologist/Cardiac Clinical Scientist specialised in Invasive Cardiology and CRM.
This role is required to help support the expansion of our service - we have recently opened the Hampshire Hospitals Heart Centre, which is a newly built cath lab unit with two cardiac catheter labs and a 10 bed day case unit. We have also run an Electrophysiology and Ablation service. This role requires cross site working across our 3 HHFT sites in Basingstoke, Andover and Winchester.
We are a dynamic and enthusiastic team of staff working across our hospitals, in a rapidly expanding investigations department which has a strong education and training programme.
An annual review R&R bonus is available for the successful candidates.
Main duties of the job
* Contribute to the delivery of a high-quality cardiac investigation service, ensuring clinical excellence, patient safety, and adherence to best practice standards.
* Active participation in procedures within the coronary cath laboratory.
* Direct involvement in the implantation of cardiac devices, including pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs).
* Supporting 24/7 coverage, working as part of a team covering the Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) on-call rota.
* Supporting the delivery of pacing clinics and managing patient follow-up, both in-person and through remote consultations.

Education
* BSc Clinical Physiology or equivalent
* Basic Life Support
* Immediate Life Support
* RCCP/HCPC registration
Clinical Skills
* Minimum 1 year clinical cardiac physiology experience
* Previous physiology experience in cath lab for angiography and pacing
* Previous experience in pacing follow up
* Previous experience with remote follow up
* Previous experience on PPCI rota
General Skills
* Demonstrate a good command of the English Language both written and verbal
* Team player
