This role would ideally suit individuals who have previous broker experience or underwriting within the commercial sector. It’s a very exciting time to be joining this newly created team based within the City of Leeds, and with anyone coming in to the business from the outset, you would have the ability to be an integral key member of team in making this a success which you’ll be recognised and rewarded in return.
This role would be dealing with clients on a daily basis with premium spends in the region up to £5k to £20k GWP, providing quotations, assisting them in making amendments and adjustments to existing covers. You will also be involved in the renewal process.
There will be a lot of client and insurer dialogue, so confident communication skills are essential for this role, as well as good attention to detail, a professional manner and strong IT skills.
You will have the opportunity to study towards the CII qualifications or continue if you have already started, which will be fully funded by the company, and also an excellent basic salary up to £27,500 and a comprehensive benefits package which includes a generous pension and holiday entitlement. There will also be the opportunity to earn commission.
