We are looking for a Lead Ceremonies Co-ordinator to join our Ceremonies Team based in the Malton office with some travel to Northallerton required. You will have experience of dealing with people, preferably in a customer facing or front-line service. Great attention to detail, confident use of spoken and written English and a smart appearance are essential to this role. You should be able to demonstrate a high level of commitment to delivering a quality service with excellent customer care, along with some line-management experience. As a Lead Ceremonies Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for providing a high quality, prompt and professional service to couples booking and organising a marriage, civil partnership or celebratory naming or renewal ceremony in North Yorkshire. As the first point of contact for couples, you will oversee the administrative and legal aspects of their ceremony and ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes - from managing bookings to helping couples create a personalised ceremony. As well as managing bookings and the office diary, you will provide guidance on legal requirements and documents required to allow couples to marry or form a civil partnership, so some experience of working within a statutory framework would be beneficial. The role requires you to develop your skills and knowledge to act as the ‘Go to Person’ providing advice and support to operational staff and deal with complex queries. You will also be part of the weekend on-call rota for emergency Registration Service issues and enquiries.
