Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Sutton, London Contract: Full-time / Part-time, Term-time only Start Date: Immediate / Flexible About the Role: Protocol Education is looking for a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs in a welcoming school in Sutton. You will work closely with pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis, helping them access learning, develop independence, and build confidence. Key Responsibilities: Support pupils with a variety of SEN needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language difficulties. Collaborate with teachers and SENCO to deliver personalised learning strategies. Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment. Encourage and support pupils’ emotional, social, and educational development. Assist with differentiated classroom activities and behaviour support. Requirements: Previous SEN experience preferred but not essential. Strong communication, empathy, and patience. Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff. Right to work in the UK.
