Production Operatives Required

Your Mission:
As aProduction Operative, your mission is to help build best in class timber products, keeping quality high and productivity even higher. Whether you’re assembling, finishing, or operating machinery, your focus is on making sure every product that leaves our floor is something we’re proud of and something our customers love.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate production machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
* Assemble and finish timber doors and related products
* Follow standard operating procedures and work orders
* Maintain high quality control standards throughout every task
* Support your team and supervisor in achieving daily targets
* Keep your work area clean, safe, and organised
* Take ownership of your function or section, ensuring productivity and accuracy
* Report any issues or areas for improvement to your manager
* Be flexible and support other departments when needed
* Work safely and responsibly, always following H&S procedures
* Take part in special projects or tasks as directed by the Production Manager
Experience:
* Practical experience with hand held tools in a manufacturing setting
* Physical fitness. This is a hands on role involving lifting and standing
* Proven ability to follow instructions and hit deadlines
* Experience working to high quality standards
* Good standard of written and spoken English to understand work orders, follow procedures, and communicate effectively with the team
* Experience with woodworking, carpentry, or timber based manufacturing
* Familiarity with operating CNC machinery or other production equipment
* Previous work in a fast paced factory or production environment
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong attention to detail
* Good communication and teamworking skills
* Able to read and interpret diagrams and instructions
* Numerate, confident with measurements and basic calculations
* Organised, with the ability to prioritise under pressure
* Reliable, punctual, and proactive
* Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving processes
Starting pay of £13.00ph rising to £13.50ph after successful completion of 3 month probationary period. 40 hr basic week over 5 days with overtime hours available during the week and at weekends.
