About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Veterinary Referral Surgeon to join our growing referral team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a well-equipped, progressive environment, handling a varied and complex caseload, with a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide advanced surgical care for referred cases, predominately orthopaedics, with some soft tissue.
* Utilise CT and arthroscopy in close collaboration
* Work closely with referring veterinary practices to ensure continuity of care
* Deliver exceptional patient care and maintain high clinical standards
* Communicate effectively with clients regarding treatment plans and outcomes
* Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and best practices
* Support and mentor junior veterinary staff where appropriate
* Contribute to the peripatetic side of the business
* Cover out of hours on a rota
About You
* RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
* Advanced qualifications (Diploma or Surgical Certificate)
* Proven experience in a referral or advanced practice setting
* Extensive experience with CT and arthroscopy
* Strong surgical and diagnostic skills
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
* Commitment to ongoing professional development
