Description Costain are the Major Programme Partner (MPP) on the T2 Baggage Programme (T2BP) and a Delivery Partner on the Asset Renewal Partnership (ARP) for Terminal 1 and 2, two of six major programmes of work that Heathrow have committed to deliver within the H7 quinquennium. Costain will collaboratively deliver transformation safely, efficiently, and sustainably with an expert team enabling Heathrow to meet its objectives. This role will sit within the Quality and Assurance team for Costain and will report to the Continuous Improvement, Quality and Assurance Director. LI-JK1 Responsibilities Provide support to Director of Quality and deputise during periods of absence Refine quality reporting to provide effective feedback to support performance management – Analysis of monthly reports and make proposals for improvement initiatives Lead on implementation and improvement of software solutions – liaise with head of CDE and ensure effectiveness of systems for quality management Review effectiveness of existing Quality Management System and ensure it meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and the contract Works Information. Make proposals for improvement where relevant Support area quality management staff, manage consistency in quality management approach across the three areas and develop forums to share lessons learnt and best practice Liaise with client – work collaboratively with Heathrow H7 Stakeholders Act as an ambassador for the project in Quality management with internal and external stakeholders through arranging events and activities / campaigns to promote quality through thought leadership Attain commitment from senior leadership and promote a good quality culture throughout the project Managing motivating coaching and mentoring quality assurance team members as necessary Qualifications A background in Engineering to be able to understand asset types and systems IRCA Lead Auditor CQI and NRCA Experience of working in a complex project environment with multiple stakeholders in an Aviation or similar regulated construction environment Highly organised with an attention to detail, ability to plan and prioritise own workload, able to work effectively to deadlines. Ability to communicate effectively and influence peers, senior managers, and wider team in both verbal and written. High level of competence in the use of Microsoft Office 365 suite/SharePoint/Teams and specific software such as Maxinet and Documentum. Ability to achieve security clearance and hold an airside pass.
