Job Title: Catering Services Manager
To lead the delivery of high-quality patient and retail catering services. Manage the Ashford retail and patient catering teams. Assist in planning, procuring, producing, and serving high-quality, nutritious, well-presented food and refreshments to meet the needs of patients, staff, and visitors in a safe and well-managed environment.
The role requires working on a rota from 7am to 7pm, 365 days a year, with flexibility for short-notice cover.
Main Duties:
* Manage day-to-day operations of patient catering and retail services, leading and motivating the team to provide a quality service.
* Produce high-quality food and drinks that align with the Trust's staff well-being objectives.
* Oversee the development of retail food menus and costings.
* Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Health & Safety legislation, including COSHH, risk assessments, and manual handling.
* Manage payroll and staff records, including leave and sickness reviews.
* Lead training on special diets, allergens, food hygiene, and HACCP procedures.
