About the Role
An established regional contractor is looking to strengthen their commercial team with a skilled Estimator, suitable for experienced or intermediate candidates.
This growing business has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the Commercial and Industrial sectors. Working alongside an experienced commercial team, the Estimator will support competitive tendering and cost management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide advice on estimating strategies and best practice
2. Review tender documents thoroughly and accurately
3. Source and obtain competitive quotes for subcontractor packages and materials
4. Prepare precise estimates for competitive tenders
5. Collaborate closely with the Quantity Surveying team
6. Maintain tender logs and file all bid documentation
Suitable Candidates
7. HNC or Level 5 qualification (or equivalent)
8. Relevant estimating experience in a similar role
9. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
10. Full UK driving license
11. Proven financial and budget management skills
