Your Opportunity
This is a hands‑on development role offering exposure across the full lifecycle of utility‑scale wind projects. You will support senior leadership while taking ownership of key workstreams including permitting, stakeholder engagement, financial analysis, and project coordination. The role suits someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment and is keen to develop broad expertise across technical, commercial, and regulatory aspects of project development.
Key Responsibilities
* Support development of wind projects from origination through to commercial operation
* Assist with site identification, land acquisition, and feasibility assessments
* Coordinate permitting activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
* Build and maintain relationships with landowners, communities, and local authorities
* Conduct financial analysis and support project valuation and investment decisions
* Manage project schedules, budgets, and internal/external coordination
* Support technical evaluation including resource assessment and interconnection inputs
* Identify project risks and support mitigation strategies
* Prepare reports and updates for senior leadership on project progress
What You Bring
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
* 1–5 years’ experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, or project finance
* Understanding of wind project development and key project drivers preferred
* Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including proficiency in Excel
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail and project coordination ability
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage across multiple stakeholders
* Ability to work independently within a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment
* Genuine interest in renewable energy and sustainability
