How You Can Play Your Part:
As a detail-oriented professional you will ensure all calibration and inspection activities meet AS9100 standards. You'll calibrate mechanical and electrical equipment, manage schedules, resolve non-conformances, and support production to minimise downtime.
You Will:
* Perform in-house calibration and inspections, ensuring traceability to national standards.
* Maintain calibration records, schedules, and methods.
* Resolve calibration failures promptly and support audits.
* Collaborate with QA, production, and external calibration providers.
* Read and interpret technical drawings and use precision tools.
About You:
* Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
* Experience in mechanical/electrical calibration and inspection.
* Proficient with precision tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges).
* Ability to read technical drawings and apply GD&T.
* Experience with calibration management systems (e.g., ATMS).
* CMM operation/programming experience.
* Aerospace sector experience.
* BTEC Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering, Metrology, or related field.
* Additional calibration/inspection certifications advantageous.
* Strong cross-functional calibration experience, ensuring consistency and compliance across departments
