Store Manager role at Space Station Self Storage.
Salary: £40,566
Location: Hall Green, Birmingham
This role is full-time, working 5 days out of 7, with some weekend and bank holiday working.
Responsibilities
* Our managers play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the store and providing customers with the Space Station service they know and love. Lead staff in day-to-day operations, support progression, maximise sales and profit targets, assist customers with needs, and ensure all legal and company procedures are followed.
* Sales and Customer Service: convert sales and help customers make informed decisions; provide outstanding customer service and resolve customer complaints while explaining company or store policies.
* Store Growth and Development: meet revenue and growth targets, control costs within reasonable limits, and drive growth and development of the store and employees; demonstrate an active approach to achieve goals and objectives.
* Manage and Train Employees: recruit, train, develop and support staff to maintain high standards; motivate staff to achieve results and budgets; provide leadership, encouragement, training and support.
* Administration: ensure effective administration of the store in line with company systems, policies, and procedures; create and implement marketing plans and monitor results; promote the store in the local community through networking.
* Maintenance: maintain excellent standards and ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.
* Charity Participation: participate in Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, dedicating 1% of working time to volunteering or fundraising for charity.

* A good level of numeracy and people management experience
