This client is renowned for their exceptional work and impressive growth within the building materials industry and is currently seeking an experienced Production Manager to establish and oversee a new production facility in the Leicestershire/Derbyshire area.
This role presents a unique prospect to build a production operation from the ground up. Key responsibilities will include setting up processes, recruiting and training a team, and ensuring the efficient and high-quality manufacturing of innovative products. The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in production start-ups, team leadership, and an in-depth understanding of manufacturing operations. Please note that regular travel to the Netherlands will be essential for knowledge transfer and ongoing collaboration with the existing manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities of the Production Manager:
* Lead the complete set-up of the new facility, developing and implementing efficient production processes and quality control measures.
* Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing production team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
* Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring that production targets for output, quality, and cost are met.
* Collaborate with the Netherlands facility for process standardization and quality assurance.
