As a Business Development Manager -Europe, you will.

1. Sales management & development of existing export distributor accounts.
2. Seek out and develop new export distribution partners in agreed key target areas.
3. Organising & managing customer machine demonstrations at MSS premises when required.
4. Sales support & attendance at industry related exhibitions.
5. Overseas travel, up to 2 weeks per month.
6. Providing detailed, clear technical guidance & sales presentations potential export customers and distributors.
7. Preparing sales supporting documentation
8. Distributor & end user sales negotiating and closing.
9. Achieving sales & growth targets.
10. Continual update of MSS CRM export contacts & sales pipelines.
11. Input for regular direct marketing and social media work.
To succeed, you will need

Essential:

12. Track record of business development with distributor network.
13. Experience selling capital equipment.
14. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
15. Results oriented with a ‘can do’ attitude.
16. Able to work flexible hours with some time staying away from home as required.
17. Self-disciplined ‘hunter gatherer’ personality with a strong ability to work autonomously.
18. Strong organisational and time management skills.
19. Location flexible but ideally within reach of MSS Offices in Rugby & International Airports.
20. Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

21. 5 years capital sales experience.
22. Experience working in the laser cutting, sheet metal working and or compressed gas industries.
23. Foreign language skills, French and/or German preferred.
24. Experience of export sales to end users &/or distributors.
25. Strong IT literacy and ability especially with Microsoft Office and CRM software and LinkedIn.
26. Engineering qualification HND/equivalent or higher is advantageous.

Job location
