The Role
We are looking for a highly organised Junior Procurement & Planning Administrator to support our client's busy procurement and planning functions at their Head Office. This role is ideal for someone early in their procurement/supply chain career who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and detailed data.
You’ll play a key part in ensuring materials, components, and information flow smoothly through the business—helping the team maintain on-time delivery, accurate planning, and strong supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the procurement team with day-to-day administrative tasks.
* Raise, update and maintain purchase orders in line with requirements.
* Proactively chase open orders and expedite deliveries where required.
* Liaise with suppliers to confirm pricing, lead times and order status.
* Assist with basic supplier negotiations to secure favourable terms.
* Chase internal production departments to ensure timely completion of planned orders.
* Maintain accurate data within the ERP/MRP system.
* Resolve delivery discrepancies, invoice queries and documentation issues.
* Monitor stock levels and support inventory control activities.
About You
* Experience in a purchasing, supply chain or administrative role (desirable but not essential).
* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Confident communicator able to build rapport with suppliers and internal teams.
* Proactive, positive approach to problem solving and deadlines.
* Comfortable working with data and systems (ERP/MRP experience an advantage).
* Eager to learn and grow within procurement and planning functions.
