These government-approved schemes are designed to securely safeguard tenants’ deposits in accordance with legal requirements throughout the duration of a tenancy. A role you will love As an Adjudicator, you’ll work to strict deadlines while delivering clear, well reasoned adjudication decisions. You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues across the department, supporting continuous improvement and contributing to projects as needed. Some of your key responsibilities will include: You’ll handle adjudications for disputes referred to DPS/LPS Scotland adjudicators You’ll resolve disputes between landlords and tenants and draft adjudication judgements for The Deposit Protection Service/LPS Scotland You’ll liaise with Dispute Resolution Case Handlers and other key individuals within DPS/LPS Scotland You’ll assist the Head of Dispute Resolution, Lead Adjudicator, and Senior Adjudicators with various tasks as requested Salary The salary for this role is up to £42,000, depending on your experience. Candidates must live within an hour’s commute of our Bristol office (BS13 8AE). What will you bring to the role? You’ll review substantial and often complex information, identifying the core issues to deliver clear, balanced decisions. Strong analytical, investigative, and decision making skills are essential, along with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently. You’ll also need confident communication skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to work effectively under time pressure.
