Overview:
Full time, permanent position (4 on 4 off, day shift 6am - 6pm)
As a Transport Team Manager at Food Service Logistics, you will be in charge of managing an operational division of our company for Starbucks, managing the drivers and activities to guarantee that we consistently meet and strive to exceed our clients' expectations.
The role is based at our Coventry Depot.
You will be responsible for fleet management, including necessary administrative tasks, and making sure your staff is informed about workplace health and safety policies.
HGV knowledge and transport managerial experience required.
Basic Salary - £40,817.46
Main responsibilities include:
1. Fleet/HGV management on a wide range of vehicles.
2. Keeping expenses under control and overseeing operational needs.
3. Ensuring the operation is fully compliant with all legislative regulations including the operator licence, drivers’ hours, tachograph infringements and working time.
4. Manage accident and incident reporting and investigation.
5. Conduct productive, on-time performance reviews; and manage any challenging conversations with drivers.
6. Handle ER problems promptly, communicating with HR and your manager to guarantee effective and consistent outcomes.
