Overview
SEN Teaching Assistant role in a special school for an Aspiring Behavior Psychologist. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated graduate looking to build a career in psychology, education, or specialist SEN support.
Responsibilities
* Support pupils with autism, SEMH needs, communication difficulties, and additional needs in a nurturing special school environment, delivering 1:1 and small-group support.
* Assist with tailored learning activities, behaviour support plans, and emotional regulation interventions as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Work with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists to implement personalised strategies designed for individual pupils.
* Collaborate with staff across the school to promote consistent behaviour support and inclusive learning opportunities.
Requirements
* Graduate with an interest in psychology, education, or specialist SEN support; aspiring Behavior Psychologist.
* Willingness to support pupils with challenging behaviours and diverse needs; ability to work 1:1 and in small groups.
* Effective collaboration with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists; commitment to child development and intervention strategies.
