Overview
An opportunity for an experienced Programme Manager to lead a large-scale transition of legacy, on-premise products into cloud-based platforms, including AWS and internal cloud solutions. The role involves coordinating multiple concurrent workstreams, ensuring alignment across product teams, and supporting wider organisational objectives within a structured programme environment.
Role Responsibilities
* Create, own, and continuously update a detailed programme roadmap, covering delivery phases, key milestones, and resource planning to support successful cloud adoption.
* Work closely with product leads to ensure their delivery plans align with overarching programme goals and governance requirements.
* Coordinate the migration of several products simultaneously, maintaining visibility and engagement across all stakeholder groups.
* Build strong working relationships with technical specialists, product stakeholders, and senior leadership to drive programme success.
* Deliver consistent reporting on progress, risks, and performance to senior stakeholders, escalating concerns where appropriate.
* Ensure delivery remains on track in terms of timeframes, budget constraints, and expected quality outcomes.
* Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and issues across the programme, implementing mitigation strategies where needed.
* Contribute to the development and maturity of portfolio or programme management capabilities, helping align delivery with strategic priorities.
Skills & Experience Required
* Familiarity with secure or regulated systems, particularly those handling sensitive or evidential data.
* Proven experience working across diverse stakeholder groups, including technical teams and senior leadership.
* Strong track record delivering complex technology programmes, ideally involving cloud transformation or migration initiatives.
* Good understanding of IT service management frameworks (such as ITIL) and their practical application.
* Experience operating within Agile delivery environments and working knowledge of Agile methodologies.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organisational levels.
* Must hold Enhanced / UKIC DV Clearance for London
