About the role
Are you passionate about supporting older adults to live safely, independently, and with dignity? We are looking for committed social workers to join our dedicated Older People’s Team.
As a Social Worker within the Older People’s Community Team, you’ll assess the needs of people aged 65+ and develop personalised care plans that promote independence, wellbeing and quality of life.
You’ll work closely with individuals, families and carers, using strength‑based approaches to support people to stay connected to their communities. You’ll collaborate with hospitals, community teams and partner organisations, helping ensure smooth and effective support for those in your care.
You’ll contribute to service development and support the delivery of high‑quality social work practice, playing a key role in improving outcomes for older people across the Island.

- Collaborate with hospitals, community teams, partner organisations and multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth and effective support.
- Contribute to service development and support the delivery of high‑quality social work practice.
Qualifications
- Must hold or obtain a relevant social work qualification.
- An enhanced with barring police check is required; the cost will be covered by the Isle of Man Government.
- Eligibility criteria for the Isle of Man Public Service must be met.
