Safely participating in the research, design, development, testing and manufacture of our range of munitions products while ensuring a detailed Safe System of Work is in place.
Responsibilities
* Planning and subsequent delivery of research, development and engineering trials.
* Design and development of new and existing munitions.
* Planning, carrying out and reporting results from Test and Evaluation trials.
* Compiling technical data to support design approval.
* Specifying and designing new manufacturing plant and equipment, then ensuring it is correctly installed and validated.
* Supporting the manufacturing team in resolving any issues that may arise during production.
* Gaining experience in placements outside engineering such as production, explosive testing and analytical laboratories.
Qualifications Required
* 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade 9-4/A.
* Good GCSE in Maths, English and a Science/Technical Subject, plus one of the following:
o 3 A-levels (or equivalent) at grade C or above, with one subject Maths and one in Engineering or a Science/Technical subject.
o An equivalent Level 3 vocational qualification that is STEM related, aligns with the scheme or area you are applying for, and is worth a minimum of 96 UCAS points.
