About the Role
We are recruiting a Deputy Director - a new senior leadership position created in response to growing organisational needs and our commitment to ensuring that people with lived experience are represented at the highest level of decision‑making.
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Grounded, resilient and able to hold clear, respectful boundaries
* A confident communicator who can influence internally and externally
* Skilled in management and partnership‑building
* Bringing both professional expertise and personal lived experience of the UK asylum/immigration system
You will play a key role in shaping services, championing the voices of Centre members and influencing local and national stakeholders.
Key information about the job
* One‑year fixed term contract (with the possibility of extending if funding secured)
* 30 hours (4 days) a week.
* £31,285 annual salary, this is an equivalent to a full‑time annual salary of £38,585
* 3‑month probationary period
* A basic DBS is required for this post
