Location: Bristol Contract Type: Permanent Hours: Full time Were looking for a proactive and highly organised Legal Assistant to join our busy Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury department. In this varied and hands-on role, youll support three fee earners with both legal and administrative tasks, while also contributing to the efficient running of the wider department. From assisting with case progression to managing incoming medical records and departmental post, youll be an essential part of a collaborative and committed team. Please note: prior legal administration experience in clinical negligence is essential for this role. What youll be doing: Assisting fee earners with clinical negligence and personal injury casework, including drafting correspondence and preparing legal documents Liaising with clients, medical experts, and third parties under supervision Scanning, uploading, and organising medical records received in hard copy or CD format Handling departmental post opening, scanning, distributing, and sending Carrying out general administrative duties for the department, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry What were looking for: Legal experience in a clinical negligence setting (essential) Excellent administrative and organisational skills Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks Confident IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and legal/case management systems A professional, team-oriented approach and willingness to support the wider team Why join us?
