Role Title: Organisational Change Specialist
Contract: 12 Month FTC
Working Pattern: Full Time
The Organisational Change Specialist will work alongside the People Relations Specialist team to provide deep-seated advice, guidance and insight on all activity related to organisational change, including individual and collective consultation, TUPE, etc.The role will also serve as a subject matter expert in employee relations and actively manage cases, both formal and informal.The role holder will ensure that people related issues that arise from organisational change are dealt with consistently and comply with internal policies, processes and legal requirements and within agreed People risk appetite.The role holder will horizon scan for any upcoming legislative changes that impact how organisational change is delivered both in the UK and Internationally.
As our new Organisational Change Specialist, you will also:
* Lead the delivery of organisational change programmes and employee relations, ensuring alignment with evolving legislation, best practices, and opportunities for improved efficiency and effectiveness .
* Build and leverage internal and external networks to support continuous professional development and provide thought leadership that enhances People policies and drives business performance .
* Lead and support organisational change initiatives across the UK and internationally by acting as the subject matter expert, collaborating with project teams, and ensuring programme milestones are met within timescales .
* Provide expert guidance on employee relations during change, including handling legal risks, early conciliation, and tribunal claims, while also contributing to forums and policy development in alignment with local labour laws .
* Promote positive workplace culture and support strategic goals by developing change-related materials, championing DEI and wellbeing, and ensuring projects deliver measurable value and align with broader People Strategy objectives .
* Drive a proactive risk management culture by identifying and reporting People-related risks, championing fair and compliant policies, and promoting awareness of risk responsibilities across the People team and wider business.
* Take ownership of personal and team development by maintaining accountability, coaching leaders to build high-performing, inclusive teams, and supporting training initiatives that foster continuous growth and compliance with governance standards
* Manage project spend in line with organisational policy and provide data-driven insights from people metrics to inform decisions and drive measurable improvements in business and workforce performance.
We are looking for:
* Proven expertise in managing complex organisational change and employee relations, including consultations, TUPE, and high-volume case management within a People or HR Operations team.
* Strong track record in HR thought leadership, with experience in process improvement, policy development, manager capability building, GDPR and interpreting UK and international employment legislation.
* Data-driven and compliance-focused, with experience using metrics to inform decisions and deliver projects
* Strong organisational and project management skills with excellent attention to detail and critical thinking.
* Experience in creating HR documents and influencing stakeholders by understanding and addressing customer needs.
* Advocate for diversity, inclusion, and colleague wellbeing, with a proven ability to drive change and deliver results.
* Proficient in data and technology, including HRIS systems and Microsoft Office suite.
