Key Responsibilities: Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on recycling plants. Respond swiftly to breakdowns, troubleshooting issues with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Deliver high-quality service, repair, and maintenance support to clients. Assist with new equipment installation and commissioning when required. Contribute to factory-based build work during non-travel periods. Work both independently and as part of a team to maintain high customer satisfaction. Essential Criteria: Time-served experience as a Service Engineer or Heavy Plant Fitter. Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and fault-finding skills. Experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, auto-electrics, and plant electrics. Basic MIG and MMA welding skills.
