Ian Williams is one of the largest privately owned national Property Services contractors in the UK and we are growing!
We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees. In return, being a critical part of our commercial success will bring you security.
This role will be based in our Head Office in Chipping Sodbury (Bristol). Office hours are hybrid with typically 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
The Payroll Administrator role:
* Support the delivery of accurate and timely weekly and monthly payroll processes
* Assist with a range of payroll administration tasks, ensuring financial and employee data is maintained correctly across systems
* Monitor and manage shared payroll mailboxes, responding to queries and escalating where appropriate
* Carry out regular data accuracy checks across payroll systems, reports, and manual inputs
* Review employee expense submissions to ensure compliance and accuracy
* Support the preparation of internal and statutory reporting, including Office of National Statistics returns
* Help ensure adherence to company processes and payroll compliance standards
* Uphold company values through a professional, reliable and collaborative approach
What You Will Bring:
We’re looking for someone who is organised, detail-focused, and committed to delivering excellent service.
* Previous payroll administrative experience.
* The ability to prioritise, stay organised, and manage your workload effectively
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately across multiple data sources
* Good working knowledge of IT systems, including Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
* Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders
* A proactive, positive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop
