Homelessness Relief And Prevention Officer (Hybrid) needed in Newbury, £29.04ph PAYE - Reference: 5273707
3 month contract
hybrid working (2 days in office per week)
Responsibilities include:
1. Providing comprehensive housing advice and assistance to prevent and relieve homelessness for all households in housing need
2. Conducting housing needs assessments to determine statutory duties owed
3. Issuing relevant notifications and decisions under section 184 of the Housing Act as amended by the Homelessness Reduction Act
4. Assessing housing applications and making decisions on nominations and allocations of social housing
5. Collaborating with outside agencies, RPs, and other departments to resolve housing issues
This is a full-time role on a temporary contract basis.
