<div><h3>Our Opportunity</h3><p>We are currently seeking a <b>Managing Scientist</b> to join our Occupational Exposure Team within the <b>Chemical Regulation and Food Safety</b> Practice. Locations include Harrogate (UK), Nottingham (UK), London (UK), Dublin (Ireland), Mannheim (Germany) or Basel (Switzerland). Homeworking may also be considered.</p><h3>You will be responsible for</h3><ul><li>Operating within the Occupational Exposure team working on projects managed within that team or by Exponent’s Regulatory Group</li><li>Providing verbal and/or written inputs to project teams, contributing to the achievement of best possible decision‑making and highest‑quality outputs</li><li>Developing knowledge and experience to interpret data from studies, drawing sound scientific and regulatory conclusions</li><li>Generating high‑quality regulatory submission documents, including summaries of exposure study reports, exposure and risk assessment calculations and overall conclusions</li><li>Participating actively in project teams to ensure Exponent’s high standards for communication are met</li><li>Applying the Exponent Quality Management System to all external written communications</li></ul><h3>You will have the following skills and qualifications</h3><ul><li>A minimum of a BSc. in a relevant scientific discipline</li><li>Extensive experience working in a regulatory environment</li><li>Knowledge of European regulatory frameworks relating to plant protection products, industrial chemicals, food or consumer products, or experience in a health‑protection role</li><li>Experience working within a budget and to tight deadlines</li></ul><h3>Benefits you will enjoy</h3><p>Exponent is a proud equal‑opportunity employer.</p><p>If you need assistance or accommodation due to a disability, you may email us at HR-Accommodations@exponent.com.</p><h3>Job Locations</h3><ul><li>UK-North Yorkshire-Harrogate</li><li>UK-London</li><li>UK-Nottingham</li><li>Dublin CH-Basel</li><li>DE-Mannheim</li></ul></div>
