Your newpany
I’m recruiting for a Senior Full Stack PHP Developer to join a purpose-led techpany that’s redefining how people move around cities. Their platforms power mobile apps, websites, and backend systems for transport operators so you’ll be working for apany that is genuinely improving lives andmunities. You’ll be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team that values quality, autonomy, and continuous improvement.
The role is offered fully remote but you must be within the UK and must not require any form of Visa Sponsorship to apply.
Your new role
The Development team has mirrored the general pattern in thepany; grow quickly, iterate, have fun, make an impact.
You’ll lead the development of scalable web applications and will take ownership of feature delivery, system design, and production reliability, while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to architectural decisions. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work across the full software lifecycle from planning and coding to testing and deployment in a fast-paced, agile environment (very rigid, or corporate backgrounds do not tend to fit).
You’ll collaborate openly with other Devs via slack and champion remote working but also relishpany socials and team-building in-person every quarter.
What you'll need to succeed
Naturally we are looking for experts in PHP (3+ years in a Senior role as a minimum), working with PHP8 and above, and ideally Symfony framework.
You’ll also be proficient with Front End tech (JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS) and will have experience building RESTful API’s and working at the database level.
You should have proven ability working on robust scalable systems and taking a lead on projects, not just following instructions, including mentoring other Developers. You’ll need to befortable with working with AWS infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
What you'll get in return
In addition to the flexibility to work remote or in the Bournemouth HQ thepany offers private medical cover for you and your family, a health cash plan, and generous perks including paid charity days, cycle to work and EV schemes, holiday buy, and EMI share options that grow with service. You’ll also benefit from structured CPD, a dedicated training budget, quarterly reviews, and regular team lunches, away days, and celebrations — all within a supportive, purpose-led culture.
