Regulation, Compliance and Conditions (RCC) Officer – Planning Enforcement Team
Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council invites applications for the role of RCC Officer within the Planning Enforcement Team. The council, historically the capital of the Black Country, is experiencing growth with the extension of the Midland Metro and a new local plan. We seek an enthusiastic, committed individual with excellent negotiation, communication and problem‑solving skills.
The RCC Officer will support a caseload of varied applications and be responsible for investigating, gathering and recording information accurately to assess and take appropriate action against alleged breaches in planning control. The team has a strong enforcement record that underpins the service and provides confidence to customers.
Applicants should be existing planners, recent graduates or soon‑to‑be graduates with a planning or related degree, or a Planning Masters course. A full UK driving licence is required.
Hours: 37 per week
Contract: Full Time Permanent
Salary: £31,537 - £34,434
Location: Hybrid working – from home and when required at borough offices
