GSL Education is seeking enthusiastic, inclusive Teaching Assistants for schools in the Hedge End area. We are looking for TAs that can carry out various work - this includes daily supply, block bookings, and short and long-term work.
The suitable candidates will have experience of supporting children in school and must be able to manage behaviour and motivate students in class. We are looking for someone who can.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with teachers to facilitate lesson delivery and classroom activities as a Teaching Assistant.
• Offer one-on-one or small group assistance to students, following teacher directives.
• Aid in the preparation of learning materials and resources in your role as a Teaching Assistant.
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment, contributing to its maintenance.
• Cultivate positive relationships with students and provide support for their social and emotional development as a Teaching Assistant.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
• A genuine passion for education and a commitment to the well-being of students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic educational setting.
• The ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.
To work with GSL Education as a Teaching Assistant, you should:
Have the right to work in the UK.
Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
