Main Role:
The role is working a shift pattern of 4 days on and 4 days off. Working
Inspect all PDM and Bfresh packaging deliveries to ensure correct quantity, specification, and quality. Create and distribute a packaging intake report comparing the deliveries against the relevant specifications, and share this with the Packaging and Technical Teams. Allocate packaging deliveries to the appropriate storage areas.
The job holder will also work with the rest of the Packaging Team to monitor and report on stock levels and packaging quality in storage areas, including highlighting any quality concerns or instances of low or excess stock. They must ensure that housekeeping in the packaging storage areas is maintained to an appropriate standard, and that all required packaging stock is available to meet the needs of various teams.
Primary Responsibilities
* Quality control of packaging intake to ensure it meets the correct packaging specifications, including packaging quality, correct barcode, and correct design.
* Report packaging intake quality and quantities to the Packaging and Technical Teams.
* Maintain up-to-date and accurate quality control packaging intake records.
* Maintain up-to-date and accurate artwork and specification sheet (if required) library.
* Manage delivery paperwork, ensuring it is completed correctly and handed to the Packaging Team on a daily basis.
* Allocate packaging to specific storage locations in the Packaging Storage areas and maintain accurate location records.
* Stock control of on-site packaging, working with the rest of the Packaging Team to ensure accurate records of quantity and quality are kept and reported.
* Support the Packaging and Technical Teams as required.
* Ensure the Packaging Storage areas well maintained and clean and tidy.
* Support the Technical Team in preparation for, and during, third-party audits.
* Managing the inventory and distribution of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) within the company.
* Processing emailed requests, preparing and tracking orders, and ensuring that all records related to PPE are accurate and up to date.
All training given, working alongside current colleagues on a Monday to Friday Shift, before moving onto 4 on 4 off shift pattern
