We’re looking for Interpreters to join our growing community at Dals!
The role is freelance. You will be registered with us on a self‑employed basis, allowing you to set your own hours, travel distance, and number of assignments to suit your lifestyle.
As a freelance interpreter you will attend appointments in person to support clients and non‑English‑speaking service users, bridging communication gaps in essential settings such as healthcare, legal, and public services.
Responsibilities
* Interpret live conversations between clients and limited‑English speakers.
* Support communication in medical, legal, social services, and public sector settings.
* Ensure accurate, confidential, and culturally sensitive interpretation.
* Use our interpreting app to manage availability and assignments.
* Deliver excellent service that empowers people to access vital services.
Qualifications
* Fluency in English and Kurdish / Kurdish Sorani.
* Strong communication and listening skills.
* Right to work.
