A number of secondary schools in Barnsley are seeking a confident and passionate Science Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This is a fantastic opportunity for an educator who enjoys making science accessible, practical and engaging for all learners.

About the Role:
As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering well-structured lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics, adapting content to meet a range of learning needs. You will create an engaging classroom environment where students are encouraged to explore scientific concepts, develop practical skills and achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Assess, track and report on student progress
* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Adapt teaching to meet varying learning needs and abilities
* Maintain a safe and structured laboratory environment where applicable
* Support student engagement and achievement in Science
* Work collaboratively with departmental staff
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable)
* Experience teaching Science in secondary school settings
* Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry and Physics
* Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
* Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
* Professional, reliable and adaptable approach
