A K Industries is a dynamic and quality-driven manufacturing company, proudly supplying precision components to top-tier clients across various industries. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an additional Shift Quality Controller to join our dedicated team.
As a Shift Quality Controller, you will be the first line of defence in ensuring that our products meet exacting customer and process specifications. From inspecting first-offs and last off's and undertaking patrol inspections - you will be a key part of our team.
Working Pattern:
3 rotating shifts (9:45pm - 6:00am / 2:00pm - 10pm / 5:45am - 2:00pm hours per week with 30 minute unpaid break

Key Responsibilities:
* Inspect and approve first-off / last off components
* Conduct regular patrol checks —visual, dimensional, and mating part checks
* Monitor production scrap and escalate issues as needed
* Perform 100% product inspections when defects arise
* Quarantine and document non-conforming products using ERP
* Update Quality Control Plans and PWIs
* Support operators and communicate quality expectations
What We're Looking For:
Essential Skills & Experience
* Hands-on quality control experience in engineering manufacturing (plastics preferred)
* Strong attention to detail with a process-oriented mindset
* Confident communicator with ability to converse in English verbally and in writing
* Team player
* Competent with MS Office and MRP/ERP systems
* Skilled in the use of measuring tools (e.g., vernier, digital calipers, gauges)
* Ability to read engineering drawings and quality check sheets
Desirable
* ISO9001 / ISO13485 knowledge
* Internal auditing experience
* Previous experience with WinMan and ALS
* Exposure to 8D methodology
* Experience with CMM, Faro arm, and OGP
* Understanding of injection moulding and related faults
