Are you passionate about sport science and looking for hands-on experience in a high-performance environment? We are seeking three enthusiastic and professional interns to join our High Performance Centre (HPC) team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work directly with athletes, clients, and practitioners, gaining practical skills in sport science testing and clinical support.
As an HPC Intern, you will play a key role in the daily running of the centre, supporting testing and therapy sessions, and ensuring a high-quality experience for all clients. You will work under supervision but with increasing independence as your confidence and competence grow.

Actual Salary: £12.63 per hour
Working Pattern: 4-5 hours in a week
Essential Criteria
* Currently studying for a Sports Science degree
* Completed or studying a Level 3 Sport Massage qualification
* Experience with sport massage
* Ability to follow protocols and maintain high standards of hygiene and professionalism
* Good communication and interpersonal skills when working with clients, athletes, and staff
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the organisation and cleanliness of the High Performance Centre
* Prepare and reset testing areas and manage stock levels
* Welcome clients, explain procedures, and support testing or therapy sessions
* Help deliver sport science testing (e.g., VO₂ max, blood lactate profiling, force plate analysis)
* Accurately record client data and session documentation

The LET’s Bloom Programme aims to connect our experienced and qualified teachers to share best practice and support continued risk-taking as we continue to add depth to our teaching craft. Teachers volunteer on this one year programme, working closely with the Learning Enhancement Team, capturing their experimentation in a journal.
