My client is ’seeking a self-driven, over achiever with a proven track record in new business to join their Sales team in the role of New Business Development Manager
You’ll need to be an enthusiastic, self motivated, proactive, highly focussed individual with a proven and successful track record in B2B sales where you have achieved or over achieved targets and objectives set.
The key focus of this role requires you to be responsible for identifying and maximising sales opportunities for Digital Learning Delivery Platform, MyLiveBook, and in addition, any On-Demand Print and fulfilment needs. Winning business by establishing, maintaining and utilising a wide contacts network, the successful candidate must demonstrate that they can engage with key business decision makers to secure profitable new business sales.
You will ideally have a proven track record in the following areas:
· Experience of selling Digital Platforms for content delivery
· Developing and implementing business winning initiatives to achieve Company sales within appropriate sectors e.g. Learning and Education, IT, Training, Printing, Publishing, Marketing or related sectors
· A network of contacts in the above sectors
· Skilled in developing new contacts
· Identifying and securing new business opportunities
· Developing and managing partner opportunities
· Increasing, identifying and qualifying market intelligence by defining appropriate market sectors, sizes of opportunity, and types of solutions to help develop new sales strategies, products and services to augment our current services and help market penetration
· Preparing, submitting and following up bids, quotations, and proposals to secure all new business for the Company, with an eye to increasing levels of customer enquiries
You must be assured, driven with excellent commercial flair, have strong social and networking skills, and relish the challenge of attaining and surpassing set goals, target revenue and KPIs. You must also be able to demonstrate exemplary organisation and time management skills, the ability to work on your own initiative, seeing projects through to conclusion; the ability to research, produce and analyse data to identify trends and make recommendations through verbal and written reports, presentations and proposals; also be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, CRM and the Internet.
The package for this role is as follows:
Pay Basic salary: £35-40,000 per annum
Car allowance: £5K
OTE: £70-75K (75-80K including car allowance)
Plus accelerators, no cap on potential earnings.
The role is office based in Caversham, Reading with hybrid working. Travel required meeting potential new customers/business.
You must have both good written and spoken English and be eligible to work in UK.
