Research Associate in Ethoxylation
Join the University of Manchester’s Department of Chemical Engineering as a Postdoctoral Research Associate focusing on ethoxylation catalysts. This 9‑month industrially funded position may extend to 14 months, depending on early results.
Responsibilities
* Develop and test new ethoxylation catalysts.
* Investigate catalyst recyclability and structure‑selectivity relationships.
* Analyse and interpret experimental data.
* Contribute to scientific publications and presentations.
* Collaborate with colleagues across research and technical teams.
Qualifications
* PhD in chemistry, chemical engineering or a related field.
* Strong background in catalysis, synthesis, and analytical techniques.
* Experience with experimental design and data interpretation.
* Excellent communication skills and teamwork ability.
