Job Description
Our client are seeking a high-calibre Project Manager to deliver complex transformation and change programmes for a diverse client base across the UK.
This role suits delivery professionals who thrive in high-pressure client environments, enjoy solving complex stakeholder challenges, and take ownership of delivery outcomes. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with senior stakeholders, navigating difficult conversations, and ensuring projects remain on track even in challenging circumstances.
Projects typically run 12 weeks to 6 months, requiring individuals who can quickly establish credibility, diagnose delivery issues, and drive results in fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex projects, from initiation through to completion.
* Manage multi-layered stakeholder environments, including senior client leadership and cross-functional teams.
* Identify delivery risks early and implement structured governance and mitigation plans.
* Navigate challenging client situations and competing priorities while maintaining delivery momentum.
* Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams including technical, operational and business stakeholders.
* Ensure delivery outcomes align with agreed scope, timeline, quality and commercial expectations.
* Provide clear reporting, governance and communication across project stakeholders.
* Operate confidently within environments where project complexity and stakeholder dynamics require strong leadership and challenge.
Requirements
* Proven experience delivering complex projects with multiple stakeholders or layered delivery environments.
* Demonstrable experience leading projects with clear business impact, rather than small operational initiatives.
* Experience delivering projects within consulting environments, SMEs, or organisations where personal ownership of delivery is required.
* Comfortable working within fast-moving project lifecycles (12 weeks – 6 months).
* Ability to challenge stakeholders constructively and manage difficult conversations.
* Strong stakeholder management across technical and business teams.
* Experience delivering infrastructure, transformation or technology programmes is highly desirable.
