The Role
We are seeking a passionate and committed Year 5 Teacher to join one of our supportive and inclusive primary schools from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who is dedicated to delivering high-quality teaching and learning and inspiring pupils to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Use assessment effectively to track progress and inform teaching
Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals
Uphold and promote the school’s values and safeguarding procedures
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 5 experience desirable but not essential)
Demonstrate strong classroom management and high expectations for behaviour and attainment
Be reflective, organised, and committed to professional development
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Be enthusiastic, flexible, and a team player
