About the Role
We have a full time Senior Care Assistant job in North Hertfordshire to assist in supporting and developing Care Assistants. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting the personal care and support needs of clients in a way that respects their dignity and promotes their independence.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting clients with daily activities such as posting letters, reading newspapers, helping them prepare their own meals.
* Providing assistance with mobility and physical disabilities, including incontinence and use of personal aids and equipment.
* Caring for clients who are temporarily sick and need bed nursing and help with feeding etc.
* Providing care and support for clients who are terminally ill.
* Making and changing beds, light cleaning, emptying commodes and general tidying.
* Inspecting, laundering and mending clients' clothes.
* Setting tables and trays, preparing and serving light meals, clearing away and washing up.
* Reading and writing reports and being involved in clients' reviews and training activities.
