Are you experienced with schedules of rates and looking to bring your skills to a new industry? I am recruiting for a Measurement Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established Main Contractor and support the asset maintenance of clients within the Rail business.
This role focuses on Reactive Maintenance on the CP7 Framework focused on Asset Management of s of Network Rail Stations across the Kent, Sussex and Wessex routes, including London stations such as London Bridge and Waterloo.
Within the Commercial team you will focus primarily on Reactive Fault Measurement and report to the Senior QS, Measurement Team Manager.
Role overview
1. Produces measures for asset maintenance
2. Fast paced, high churn, desktop role
3. Role involves using schedules of rates and valuing the work, using worksheet, before/during/after photographs, to inform measurements.
4. Not a project QS role; no CVR, no applications for payment
5. Daily interactions with suppliers, and internal teams
Requirements
6. QS or experienced AQS looking to step up
7. Background in rail, water, housing associations, or highways
8. Proficient in schedules of rates measurement, desktop measurement, and administrative tasks.
9. Good verbal and written communication skills
10. Team player who can work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
11. Strong commercial acumen
