Due to continued growth, we are looking at recruiting hardworking production MIG welders (TIG welding experience also preferred) to join our established dayshift and night shift teams. Suitable candidates must be skilled in welding preferably within the thin gauge sheet metal engineering sector.
The ideal candidates will have the ability to MIG weld mild steel and have an excellent working knowledge of welding procedures. You will be expected to produce high quality work consistently, whilst being able to work at a consistent pace.
The work is for a variety of different markets with many interesting client portfolios being serviced. you will also need to have some grinding/linishing experience of cleaning products ready for the follow on process. You will be working within a thriving manufacturing team, employing more than 60 skilled and semi-skilled staff.
You must be capable of working independently using and interpreting engineering drawings. The work is to be completed within our factories and does not involve any site work.
Shift allowance of £2.00/hour on top of agreed hourly rate for our nightshift.
High standards of timekeeping and attendance are essential.
All candidates will be subject to a weld test as part of our recruitment process.
