Store Assistant in Ipswich Martlesham Heath
Hours: 16 hours per week • Fixed term contract: 6 months
We are looking for candidates who live locally and can easily commute to our store. Our stores are open from 7 AM to 8 PM, so you must be able to manage early starts and late finishes.
What you’ll do
* Be the friendly face of Toolstation, helping customers find what they need.
* Be hands-on with deliveries, warehouse tasks, and stocking shelves.
* Handle deliveries, unpack stock, keep the store clean, and prepare orders.
* Provide outstanding service and engage with customers to ensure a great experience.
* Ask the right questions to understand customers’ projects and help them find what they need.
* Be proactive in selling the benefits of Toolstation Club and Trade Accounts, and sign customers up for deals.
Be prepared to roll up your sleeves, and work in varying temperatures depending on the season. No retail experience is required; we’ll teach you everything else if you’re committed to excellent service.
